The meaning behind the Cigar Pride flag: The Band: The shape of a vintage cigar band, meant to honor the history of cigars The Blue Color: Represents Denim The Black Color: Represents Leather The White Color: Represents openness and a welcoming spirit The Tan Circle: Represents the hanky code color for cigars and cigar service. The shape and location is positioned so that it encompasses everyone no matter their orientation, side of the slash, or if they engage in giving or receiving The Red Heart and Cigar: Symbolizes the love and passion for cigars and cigar service The Colored Background: It represents the journey of a tobacco leaf from field to firing. A young leaf is green and as it ages and ferments the color darkens to the rich brown. This color gradient also represents our journey. We all started off a little green, some of us are content to stay in the light browns, and some of us walk that path to the end.
